Bling It Up

Hi Bloggers,

I started designing the card in this post for a card challenge at Kookaburra Crafts and the challenge was for a gatefold card.  That didn’t end up happening, but Jacqui has been wishing I’d do some more Cheery Lynn Challenges.

So I decided to turn my attention to the challenge at Cheery Lynn this week, Challenge No. 130  “Bling It Up”.  Who doesn’t like a bit of bling in their life.  Well I definitely think my card fits the criteria of Bling with 110 rhinestones glistening away.

The doily, butterfly and all of the flowers are cut from Cheery Lynn dies.  I traced around the doily die for the blue mat behind the doily.

Cheery Lynn dies used: Daisy Strip #B259, Tiny Flower Kit #B376, Ivy Corner Flourish #B315, French Pastry Doily Die #DL102, Exotic Butterfly Small #DL112 and Small Angel Wing DL112A

Other Products and Dies Used:  Spellbinders Standard Circles Small #S4-116, Spellbinders Standard Circles Large #S4-114, JustRite Grateful Heart Vintage Labels Two #CR-04450, lots of rhinestones, Ivory A4 Cardstock, Blue cardstock from a DCWV Cardstock stack and designer paper and stamps from Prima “Fairy Belle Collection” (a freebie paper stack from the “Australian Simply Cards Magazine)

Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment to let me know that you’ve been to visit.  I hope you’ve enjoyed todays card and have a fantastic day!
